Coin Rules Settings - Totara and Moodle

Incentli comes with a default coin economy. We recommend you start by using this default economy and get comfortable using the platform before making any changes. Keep in mind, you can always change the cost of items in the store if you're not happy with the purchase rate of items (ie. if items are too easy or too hard to purchase).

However, in all likelihood, you'll want to change the coin economy at some point. Incentli allows you to customize the coin-earning rules for your LMS. By default, the coins are awarded for completions. Incentli "listens" to the LMS, and when the criteria are met for activity/lesson/course completion, the coins will be sent to the learner.

Note: The screenshots below were taken on Moodle, but each LMS integration has something similar.

Global Settings:

Set the default coin values for completions across your entire site.

Course overrides:

Override the Global coin completion settings for specific courses/activities/lessons. For example, you might want to increase or decrease the coin value, depending on your needs.
